For each project we carry out the following sections of our works all works are carried out by our own technicians.
We assist with the design aspect for a new system where required, or carry out a bespoke design ourselves where no system design exists. Whether it is for a new installation or integration with an existing system our design team are able to o er solutions. Our knowledge of the integration of all modes of energy allows us to incorporate locally-available renewable energy sources in preference, wherever possible, to traditionally used fossil fuels.
Our bespoke panels are manufactured on our own premises thus giving us control of relevant time scales. By using our own teams we can ensure that quality of the installation is maintained to a high standard. Through an open dialogue with the site management team we can be on site at the right time, keeping ahead of the building construction, and working towards a suc- cessful completion date.
Commissioning staff are all appropriately certified and have many years of experience of working on both our own systems and existing equipment and would carry through the commissioning stages and handover completed project to client.
We have developed a range of service and support solutions from simple regular maintenance visits to sophisticated all inclusive contracts with guaranteed 24/7 cover, including response times to service requests within 4 hours of a call for help.
Service packages are tailored to the needs and budgets of the customers business, and may include insurance policy type levels of cover where all materials and labour are covered in a monthly fee, offering ultimate peace of mind.
Support from our bureau services is available 24/7. Most issues are resolved with a simple remote connection via either the internet or 3G remote connection.
Energy consumption is an important factor in climate change, since around 80% of all energy currently produced is created by burning fossil fuels – oil, coal and gas. Around 44% of the total energy produced is used in the heating and cooling of buildings. Fossil fuels are being depleted, and the CO2 which is a bi-product of their use is contributing to global warming, which is having disturbing e ects on our climate.
Organisations such as CC South are playing an important part in helping to reduce our addiction to energy by making buildings more energy effcient. A well designed and implemented DDC BEMS system retrofitted over older non DDC controls may reduce your energy costs by 30% or more.
Systems installed by us generally incorporate strategies which interface with energy using plant such as LTHW boilers, chillers, domestic hot water generators, air conditioning systems, and ventilation plant. Strategically placed sensors and monitoring devices report to the BEMS controls, and bespoke software routines ensure that equipment is only called into operation when needed, and otherwise disabled. Plant which is operating when not required of course wastes energy.
Approximately 11% of the electrical energy used in a typical building is consumed by lighting. How many times do you notice lights switched on when not required? For example on bright days, or simply left on overnight because nobody thought to turn them off?
A great deal of energy can be saved by placing control of lighting systems under BEMS. This could be as simple as lighting contactors on distribution boards which switch off banks of lights at preset times, or perhaps occupancy detectors which enable light fittings when movement is detected. Budgets permitting we may propose more sophisticated solution involving DALI lighting.
Sophisticated technologies for automation and control are increasingly finding their way into homes. As with commercial controls, if a device has needs electricity it can be monitored and controlled. This principle extends itself to heating, air conditioning, home security, CCTV, lighting systems, sun blinds, whole home audio and video distribution systems, garage doors, garden sprinkler systems. Elegant and tasteful wall switches and touch panels may be introduced and voice control via Amazon Alexa.
